Project Overview:
I was as a contract designer for Underwriter Laboratories for about a year and one of the projects I worked on was their campaign to highlight the UL Verification Mark. The UL Mark differentiates a product, system, process or facility by making each offering or brand easier to trust. Adding trust to the equation makes these products easier to buy, easier to push through the supply chain, and makes the brand stand above the competition. The word "TRUST" is used in the campaign to symbolize the halo effect of having UL Verification.
Scope:
The campaign consisted of a video, a folder to hold print handouts and a sell sheet, a trade show mockup including banners, retailer POS shelf talkers, and online advertising in the form of display ads.
My Role:
I worked on the consumer/retail side of the campaign (there was both a consumer and a healthcare segment). I sourced the photos for this campaign, which consisted of four different examples of products in which the UL Mark might be relevant. These included headphones, a cell phone, a smart home and a smart watch. I was then tasked with applying the different scenarios to collateral; a folder, print handouts, a trade show mockup, shelf talkers and display ads
