Project Overview:
I was connected through a friend to a woman who was looking for a graphic designer to do logo and branding work for her developing woman’s golf apparel company.
Scope:
I worked with the client to brainstorm ideas for the logo as she had some drawings and ideas of what she was looking for. As a small start up she was at the point where sample apparel work was being tweaked for minor revisions, so she was hoping to get the logo and branding process started as soon as possible.
My role:
This was a freelance project, so i was responsible for all aspects of the design process.

Process:
I started brainstorming some ideas using the concept of the golf club as an L. This was my first iteration of those designs. The client wanted the LL in Links Lady to be the focal point of the logo.
Process:
After reviewing the concepts, the client decided she wanted a more feminine look to the logo. She sent me a script L that she really liked from another brand, so I came up with some new logo concepts utilizing some script lettering.

Final Design:
After reviewing the latest round of concepts, the client picked three that she really liked and requested to see each of these ini different shades of pink (her logo color of choice). She ultimately choice the logo below, in a bright fuschia. She chose the tagline "Just Be Yourself" and I created a wordmark to accompany the logo.
