The logo features a modern, stylized representation of Savin Rock, a rocky outcropping in Bradley Point Park, West Haven, Connecticut, historically known for its seaside amusement park. To preserve that legacy for future generations. View fullsize CAFE CORBEL :: Cafe Corbel is a modern coffee shop located in Chicago, first opened in June 2018. The owners wanted the logo to reflect the café's architectural theme, initially envisioning a design that incorporated a "corbel" structure — an architectural feature defined as a projection from a wall used to support a load above it (pronounced: kôrbl). The final logo, however, leaned into a more minimalist and elegant aesthetic that captured the café's stylish and welcoming vibe.
